02 / 07Where it sits

Central Meydan. Road capacity is the catalyst.
Rabdan Avenue sits between the D69 corridor and Muscat Street, in a part of Meydan where Dubai is upgrading the road network now — not relying on a future transport promise.

Why this matters
- RTA figures describe the corridor, not a journey from Rabdan Avenue; no project-specific travel time is implied.
- Al Khail Road / Meydan improvements are already completed; RTA's Meydan cycling track includes a 160 m underpass.
- RTA also awarded the AED 2bn Latifa bint Hamdan Corridor in Jul 2026, linking Sheikh Zayed Road through Al Khail Road and Al Meydan Street — wider corridor context.
- Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, a 10.13 km² protected wetland (Dubai Municipality), is an area-level nature anchor, not a doorstep amenity.
- No metro station is claimed for Rabdan Avenue.
